CureFest 2014 featuring Brianna Kelley and Studio Bleu. 14-year-old Erin Griffin from Australia was the first international childhood cancer advocate for The Truth 365 Childhood Cancer Campaign. Erin was a featured speaker at the first ever CureFest on September 1, 2013, and planned to return to Washington in 2014. Sadly Erin died on September 1, 2014, from DIPG brain cancer. Her long-distance friend Bri Kelley and her friends at Studio Bleu dedicated this dance to Erin and performed it live at CureFest 2014 on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Special thanks to Studio Bleu Dance Center, Choreographer Glo Hampton, and costume designer Bahar Carmichael. Dancers vs. Cancer and iDance4aCure is sponsored by Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation and the Brad Kaminsky Foundation. Special props to Lisa Millar for her invaluable support!
